NoteLingo (“the app”) is developed by James Philip Love. Contact: [james@studiolove.co.uk].
NoteLingo teaches you to read sheet music. It does not ask you to create an account.
Information stored on your device
Lesson progress, XP, streaks, hearts, quests, badges, outfits, settings, and reminder choices are stored on your iPhone. The home-screen widget reads that same progress. Nothing in that progress file is sent to a NoteLingo server, because there isn’t one. Deleting the app, or using Reset progress in Settings, removes it.
Game Center
If you open the League screen and sign in, Apple Game Center receives your weekly XP so it can show a leaderboard. Apple controls that sign-in and the name shown beside your score. Apple’s privacy policy applies to Game Center: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Advertising
The app shows ads through Google AdMob, including banners, full-screen ads, rewarded ads, and native ads. Google may receive device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to deliver and measure ads.
On iPhone, the app asks permission before tracking you across other companies’ apps and websites. If you allow tracking, ads can be more relevant. If you refuse, ads can still appear, but they are not based on that tracking.
If you are in the UK, the EEA, or Switzerland, a consent form is shown before ads. If you are in a US state that requires it, an opt-out form is shown. You can change those choices later in Settings when Privacy options is available.

Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your iPhone. That reminder is not sent through a NoteLingo server.
Children
NoteLingo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change and the new version will be posted on this page.
